Bangladesh v Zimbabwe 1st ODI Prediction

The visiting Zimbabwean team was beaten badly by Bangladesh in three Test series and that was a big achievement in the longer version of the game. Both sides will be involved in five One Day Internationals and the visitors will be anticipating different results in the forthcoming series. Two countries have played 59 ODIs, the Bengal Tigers have grabbed 31 while Zimbabwe were successful 28 times. The first match between them was held on October 11, 1997, at Gymkhana Club Ground, Nairobi, where Bangladesh lost by 48 runs and they suffered in their last game as well by seven wickets on May 8, 2013, at Queens Sports Club, Bulawayo. The home side were at the receiving end on their away tour of West Indies who whitewashed the series at 3-0. Mominul Haque, Tamim Iqbal, Mahmudullah, Imrul Kayes and Mushfiqur Rahim scored plenty of runs in the recently concluded Test series against Zimbabwe. Shakib Al Hasan was once again a prominent all-rounder while Jubair Hossain, Mashrafe Murtaza, Al-Amin Hossain, Sabbir Rahman and Arafat Sunny are their prominent bowlers.

Hamilton Masakadza was the highest run maker in three Tests, Regis Chakabva, Sikandar Raza, Brendan Taylor and Vusi Sibanda can control the innings with their solid batting. Elton Chigumbura performed well as an all-rounder whereas Tinashe Panyangara, Natsai M’shangwe, Sikandar Raza and Malcolm Waller are dependable bowlers.
