One of the strongest teams of the Caribbean Premier League, Jamaica Tallawahs, continued their journey towards stability while beating another fine side, Barbados Tridents, in the 20th match. St Loucia Zouks tasted their maiden victory of the event by defeating Antigua Hawksbills in their previous game. Both sides will take over each other in the 24th encounter which can prove to be a one sided affair in the end.
Owais Shah kept on blossoming and was the main scorer in the last game whereas Chris Gayle, Chadwick Walton are batting well. Andre Russell has developed himself into a competent all-rounder and Jerome Taylor along with Nikita Miller are improved bowlers.
Sohail Tanvir is the only consistent player who is performing well for St Lucia Zouks in both departments of the game and was the ‘Player of the match’ in the previous match. Their top order batsmen like Andre Fletcher, Johnson Charles and Keddy Lesporis are batting below their potentials. Darren Sammy took just one wicket in seven matches while Shane Shillingford and Ray Jordan have proved too expensive.
