Team India continued their dominance in the shorter version of the game by defeating England in the consecutive One Day International at ease and will anticipate wrapping up the series in the next game. The Blue Shirts won the second ODI by 133 runs followed by another victory of six wickets in the third one and lead the series at 2-0. The home side which dominated the Test series is struggling in the limited overs cricket and will have to re-equip themselves for the positive results.
Alastair Cook, Alex Hales and Jos Buttler registered forties in the previous game while Ian Bell and Joe Root are underperforming. Chris Woakes and James Tredwell are their most successful bowlers but they need support from James Anderson and Steven Finn.
Rohit Sharma is out of the series because of an injury and Ambati Rayudu played a fine unbeaten knock of 64 in the third ODI. Suresh Raina along with MS Dhoni are batting superbly and Virat Kohli is picking his form. Ravichandran Ashwin was the ‘Player of the match’ in the last encounter while Mohammed Shami and Bhuvneshwar Kumar are their express bowlers.
