  1. India is in great form in the short format of the game, they have momentum and they can win easily if England do mistakes. If England batsmen fire then India will be in trouble. Basically it all boils down to England's batting performance if they bat first. So I would watch the first innings. If it's 200+ score then team batting second will have tough chasing it down.

My betting tips - wait for the first innings score and then bet accordingly. If team batting scores 200+ then back this team otherwise back second team. If India is chasing < 200 then back India.

  2. England are underdog. On Betfair I would lay them at low odds and wait for back odds to go high and then I back to make my book green. It is highly unlikely that England will dominate throughout the match.

    • Piyush,
I would rather do the same for India. Odds for India are less than 2 and laying them at low price will involve less liability. Indians are also inconsistent and they are more prone to fall like pack of cards than England. I expect India's odds to go high during batting failure and then I would back them to go green.

    • India will loose. lay India @ 1.85 which is a good price. Your loss is only .85 for 1 unit if India wins. Watch for Indians with bat, if they fail you are winner, if they end up smashing balls all over the park then cash out as soon as you see green.

  3. Any tips for highest run scorers on both side?

    • Hard to predict highest scorer. Here are my picks
England: James Taylor, Joe Root, Ravi Bopara, Jos Buttler
James is in great form and only today he scored century.
India: Suresh Raina, Ajinkya Rahane, Ambati Raydu & MS Dhoni
Virat Kohli might be favourite all the time but he is going through his most miserable period and I wouldn't pick him. Same goes for Eoin Morgan great talent, destructive batsman but like Kohli he is a failure in this series.

  4. My pick for Indian bowlers
Shami, B Kumar and Jadeja in that order.
