The Lankan Lions hit back at England by clinching the fourth One Day International by a narrow margin of seven runs at lord’s, London. The hosts triumphed in the first and third game whereas the visitors became victorious in the second and fourth one. The five match series is levelled at 2-2 and the fifth and final encounter will determine the winner.

Players to watch

Jos Buttler powered 121 runs for England in the previous ODI, Ravi Bopara hit a fifty while Gary Ballance and Joe Root made reasonable contributions with the bat. Chris Jordan, Harry Gurney and James Anderson are the main wicket takers for the home side.

Kumar Sangakkara hammered a match winning ton at Lord’s and shared a valuable partnership of 172 runs for the second wicket with Tillakaratne Dilshan who smashed 71. Mahela Jayawardene is required to get back his form along with his captain Angelo Mathews. Lasith Malinga and Ajantha Mendis bowled excellently in the last game while Sachithra Senanayake is their top wicket taker in four games.
