Mumbai Indians |
vs | Sunrisers Hyderabad |
ScheduleWednesday, 30 April 2014 at 14:30 GMT / 15:30 UK / 20:00 IST VenueDubai International Cricket Stadium |
The Indian Premier League Champions 2013, Mumbai Indians, displayed a hopeless performance in the ongoing event while Sunrisers Hyderabad is a bit better side. The first played four games and was beaten easily by the rival teams whereas the latter was able to win a single game out of four. Both sides carry big names but they have yet to prove their worth in the ongoing tournament.
The entire batting line up of Mumbai Indians has flopped in all games they played and none of their batsmen could accumulate 100 runs while batting four times. Rohit Sharma, Kieron Pollard, Michael Hussey and Ambati Rayudu are required to give their bowlers a substantial total to defend. Lasith Malinga is fighting hard with the ball but Zaheer Khan and Pragyan Ojha must bowl on line and length.
Aaron Finch has demonstrated most responsibility while batting for Sunrisers Hyderabad whereas big names like his skipper, Shikhar Dhawan, David Warner and Lokesh Rahul should realise their responsibilities. The young Bhuvneshwar Kumar is their best bowler while Dale Steyn and Amit Mishra should be more aggressive in their approach.
