The Black Caps started off from where they left in the United Arab Emirates against the Green Shirts and won the first One Day International by a huge margin of seven wickets. The batting line up of Pakistan with the exception of Misbah-ul-Haq and Shahid Afridi surrendered against the fast and furious bowling of New Zealand who bowled them out for 210 runs with 27 deliveries still available. The target was achieved quite easily by the home side while hammering 3-213 in 39.3 overs, leads the two match series at 1-1 and is the strong favourite to clinch the coming one. The tourists will do their best to level the series but their batsmen will be required to produce match winning innings which can enable their bowlers to bowl aggressively.

Players to watch

Ross Taylor and Grant Elliott produced a fascinating unbroken partnership of 112 runs for the third wicket with their individual scores of 64 and 59. Martin Guptill and Tom Latham chipped in with 39 and 23 while Brendon McCullum, Corey Anderson and Luke Ronchi are enjoying great form with the willow. Elliott was the most successful bowler with three wickets as Kyle Mills along with Trent Boult and Anderson shared two wickets each whereas Adam Milne and Nathan McCullum can create problems for the rival batsmen.

Shahid Afridi was the top scorer with 67 off 29 balls, Misbah-ul-Haq contributed 58 and Haris Sohail was the other notable batsman who registered 23. Mohammad Hafeez, Ahmed Shehzad, Younis Khan, Umar Akmal and Srafraz Ahmed must bat with a positive approach. Mohammad Irfan, Bilawal Bhatti, Ehsan Adil and Shahid Afridi should be more accurate and perhaps the Green Shirts require another specialist bowler in the following match.

  2. NZ is still favourite. Pakistan has to do a lot of hard work to come anywhere near to a win. Pakistan's batting is looking fragile and Afridi's luck will not help him all the time. Misbah-ul-Haq is the only batsmen who has been consistent.

It's 80-20 in favour of NZ.

Just be careful as for NZ old habit dies hard is always true and Pakistani freaks can wake up any time.

    • Munna Bhai , If pak Bat first "( good start )" can I start back them ?? or just wait for them to finish ??? How many ticks is possible in this game ??? and How to use stop_loss ticks during the Match ?? thx thx thx

      • I'm not in habit for backing underdogs, 9 out 0f 10 times they will fail. Always back strong favourite you will make profit 9 out of 10 such backings. I doubt you can get any profit out of Pakistan's batting. You might try scalping Afridi's batting, if lucky you can get 10-20 points profit, it's very risky but worth giving a try. Screw stop loss that is not for Cricket, that's used in Horse Racing. Just because you have seen some feature doesn't mean you have to use it.

        • Bhai, Just an off the track question about Horse racing....
Maine to bhai ek hi baar ghode pe paisa lagaya tha 100 rupiya jab bahut pehle pehli baar Mumbai me Mahalaxmi Race Course dekhne gaya tha.....and recently this January there was a huge rampage and protests by punters widely published in newspapers when a Jockey was alleged to loose a race for money on the potentiallymost fav horse which he later accepted and a case was regidtered but still no money refunded and enquiry going on.Likewise Bet365 and other bookies have accused of exchanges likeBetfair of misdoings by having the lay option on fav horses which can be fixed easily.Does anything like this sort happens with UK races or "It happens only in India"

          • It happens everywhere but we will never know if it's happening or not. It should not affect your trading. Horse racing is a different ball game all together. But it's one of the easiest to trade as well. All you need is to pick a weak horse which is 100% sure to loose. It's normally the horse with highest odds. But be careful as odds of such horses are very high to lay. If it is fixed it's still in your favour. BF is revolutionary only if these guys get it right they will wipe out all bookies.
