Lions maintained their second position on the table of the Ram Slam T20 Challenge, 2014-15, while beating Titans by a margin of one mere run. Dolphins were thrown out of the event once they lost their previous game against Knights by a difference of 39 runs. Lions secured their second spot with 26 points from eight matches with six victories and two losses. Dolphins are holding the fourth position after playing nine games, winning just two losing six and one of them ended without any result. Earlier, Lions grabbed the match vs. Dolphins by a big margin of six wickets on November 2, 2014, in Johannesburg.
Morne van Wyk and Dwayne Bravo scored 39 and 35 runs for Dolphins vs. Knights and rest of their entire batting line up surrendered without any fight. They have to play brave cricket in their last game while, Robbie Frylinck, Craig Alexander, Prenelan Subrayen and Bravo are bowling reasonably.
Rassie van der Dussen blasted a quick fired hundred for Lions against Titans that took just 61 balls. Neil McKenzie reached 47 whereas Chris Gayle, Temba Bavuma and Jean Symes can assist their batting with a handy contribution. Lonwabo Tsotsobe and Eddie Leie shared two wickets each and Chris Morris along with Hardus Viljoen are their match winning bowlers.
