Lions v Warriors Prediction

Lions continued their journey towards prosperity when they defeated one among the best teams of the Ram Slam T20 Challenge, 2014-15, Cape Cobras, in the previous match. The first scored 7-141 runs in the allotted 20 overs and their bowlers kept a check on the rival batsmen who managed 94 for the loss of nine wickets in the required quota of overs. Warriors clinched their maiden victory of the event while beating Dolphins by a vast margin of seven wickets. The former will take over Lions next and will try to repeat their performance of the last game.

Players to watch

The supreme batsman of the Ram Slam T20 Challenge, Chris Gayle, was rested in the last match and Rassie van der Dussen smashed a fifty for Lions in his first game of the event. Neil McKenzie, Temba Bavuma and Jean Symes have yet to play any big innings while Chris Morris, Dwaine Pretorius, Hardus Viljoen and Lonwabo Tsotsobe are protecting their team from any misery.

Colin Ingram and JJ Smuts registered half centuries in the last match against Dolphins that ended in their favour. Craig Kieswetter is the top scorer of the Warriors whereas Somila Seyibokwe and Simon Harmer must demonstrate consistency with the bat. Rusty Theron, JJ Smuts, Simon Harmer and Lundi Mbane are improving gradually.
