Sri Lanka proved their strength against England who lost the fourth One Day International by a vast margin of six wickets. The visitors were bowled out for 265 runs in exact fifty overs and the hosts achieved the target by smashing 267 for the loss of four mere wickets with two balls to spare. The Islanders are marshalling the seven match series at 3-1 and would love to extend their lead in the remaining three games while the Englishmen will try to exhibit positive show.
Players to watch
Kumar Sangakkara demonstrated a match winning knock of 86, his skipper Angelo Mathews remained unbeaten for 51, Mahela Jayawardene and Kusal Perera contributed 44 and 31 runs in the last match. Tillakaratne Dilshan is emerging as a valuable all-rounder in the series since he claimed three wickets other than scoring runs and Rangana Herath along with Ajantha Mendis produced the same result.
Alastair Cook will be available for the fifth game after facing a ban of one match and will look forward for big innings. James Taylor played an important innings of 90, the stand in captain Eoin Morgan scored breezy 62 and Joe Root was the other notable batsman with 36 in the fourth ODI. As I always say don't take so much risk and I've written many times that book boom Afridi is freak and will always be freak. Don't mess with freaks. Kangaroo Smith is another freak, Faf and ABD in SA are two more. As long as they are in frame never take risk. You should have greened up on NZ batting innings rather than going into danger zone.
