Zimbabwe vs. South Africa 3rd ODI

The hosts Zimbabwe exhibited a better performance against South Africa in the second One Day International by getting through the batting line up of visitors. The latter were dominant in the game since their bowlers brought them back in the encounter and restricted the home side by a difference of 61 runs. The match was mostly dominated by the bowlers from both sides and just one batsman from each side registered a fifty.

Players to watch

Sean Williams was the highest run getter for Zimbabwe with 55 in the previous game but a positive batting will be required by Hamilton Masakadza, Brendan Taylor and Sikandar Raza. Sean Williams, Prosper Utseya and John Nyumbu were the most successful wicket takers.

Faf du Plessis scored his consecutive half century of the series while David Miller, Quinton de Kock and Jean-Paul Duminy were among runs. Wayne Parnell and Ryan McLaren were the top wicket takers with three each whereas Imran Tahir chipped in with two.
