Next Friday, 27th of March 2015, a super motivated England will measure forces with a fairly inconsistent Lithuania at the emblematic Wembley Stadium for the Euro 2016 Qualifiers.
After an extremely disappointing overall performance at the World Cup last Summer, the English boss Roy Hodgson managed to rally his troops and England bounced back immediately. The Three Lions have not lost any official match since the Brazilian nightmarish campaign and are currently at the top of their qualifying group with 12 points from four matches.
After a very complicated win at Tallinn against Estonia back in October, England sealed a solid home 3-1 win over Slovenia thanks to two goals from Danny Welbeck and another from Wayne Rooney. The English side were in complete control of the match and once again showed all their superiority in a group where they probably won’t face any proper competition until the end.
The last time England lost a qualifying match at home was back in 2007 when they sucumbed at the hands of Croatia by 3-2. This impressive record and their current excellent moment place them as firm favourites for the upcoming match against a fragile Lithuania team that doesn’t appear to have enough weapons to win such war.
Roy Hodgson has carried out some changes in the group of players he selected for this match and for the upcoming clash against Italy, having allowed the Spurs’ forward Harry Kane to have his first England Senior call-up.
As for Lithuania, the Baltic state team has started the Euro 2016 qualifying campaign at good pace with two consecutive wins, first over San Marino and later against their neighbours and rivals of Estonia. Nevertheless, their interesting start ended abruptly when they were defeated at home by Slovenia back in October and, ever since then, they have not won a single official match.
The boys of Igoris Pankratjevas, a former versatile defender from Zalgiris Kaunas back in the 1980s, have exhibited some good football on the qualifying matches they have taken part in so far, but the lack of experience and even some childish mistakes have cost them precious points, especially on their home match against Slovenia, where they had plenty of opportunities to win the match.
There is a huge difference between both sides for next Wednesday’s clash and it is not likely that Lithuania will turn such a complicated match into something positive.

Looks like an easy victory for England with over 2.5 goals. England's odds are not good to back them so instead lay them at Betfair (Click here to open account and get £25 FREE), you will make profit in case match is drawn or Lithuania wins. Back over 2.5 goals as well. If there is an early goal then you can hedge to make profit on both side.
