Team England was beaten by Australia in the first match with a difference of three wickets. The former was bowled out for 234 runs in 47.5 overs while batting first, the hosts achieved the target by smashing 7-235 and utilised 39.5 overs. India played well against the Kangaroos and scored 267 runs for the loss of eight wickets in the allotted 50 overs and the latter were once again victorious by powering 6-269 with six balls still available.
