India and Bangladesh registered their lowest ever scores in the ODI’s against each other in the second game. The match was restricted to 41 overs and the visitors were dismissed for 105 runs in 25.3 overs. The home side was given an easy target but the entire team surrendered for 58 after 17.4 overs and they are trailing in the three ODI series at 2-0. The third and final encounter will be held at the same venue and the Men in Blue will anticipate a clean sweep whereas the Bengal Tigers will try to win it.
Suresh Raina was the top scorer for India with 27 in the last game while Ajinkya Rahane and Robin Uthappa smashed fifties in the first match. Stuart Binny was the player of the match with six wickets for just four runs and Mohit Sharma along with Umesh Yadav are bowling superbly.
Two debutants of Bangladesh made an impression in their respective fields. Mithun Ali was the top scorer with 26 and the young quick bowler, Taskin Ahmed, grabbed 5 wickets with his lethal spell. Mushfiqur Rahim and Anamul Haque are solid batsmen, Shakib Al Hasan is a world class all rounder and Mashrafe Mortaza will assist him well.
