South Africa tasted their first defeat of the Zimbabwe Triangular Series 2014, when they were out played by Australia in the fifth match. Earlier, Zimbabwe won their first game of the tournament against Australia and that too after a period of 31 years. The hosts are out of the final but they will give a tough time to South Africa in the final pool encounter.
The skipper of Zimbabwe, Elton Chigumbura, played a match winning unbeaten knock of 52 vs. Australia in their previous game while Brendan Taylor and Donald Tiripano registered thirties. Hamilton Masakadza and Sikandar Raza must bat positively and Prosper Utseya along with Sean Williams, John Nyumbu and Tendai Chatara are required to bowl positively.
Faf du Plessis dispatched his second ODI century in the last match against the Kangaroos when rest of the batting force surrendered without any resistance. Hashim Amla, AB de Villiers, Quinton de Kock and Jean-Paul Duminy can play big innings whereas Ryan McLaren, Dale Steyn and Imran Tahir are their front line bowlers.
