Players to watch

Mahela Jayawardene got back to the business with solid batting while Angelo Mathews and Kumar Sangakkara will look after the middle order. Rangana Herath created a T20 record against New Zealand by grabbing 5 wickets for 3 mere runs and Lasith Malinga will play his role with his fast and furious deliveries.

Darren Sammy is leading his troops from the front with his aggressive batting whereas Chris Gayle and Dwayne Smith can provide them a rising start. Samuel Badree along with Sunil Narine are their match winning spinners and can topple any batting side on their day.

  1. It's role reversal for both teams. Sri Lanka started as strong team and ended up as vulnerable team. On the other hand West Indies caught napping in the early stages only to awake towards the end of round robin. One they are awake they can smoke any opponent in any surface and in any country, this is precisely what they are doing. Now consider this, their spin bowling has been devastating while batting has played secondary role, if their hard hitters get settle then what will happen. Keep dreaming...
I see it as a battle of spinners, batsmen will suffer. I've my $250 on Sri Lanka to win.
