Australian cricket squad has reached Dubai for taking part in the series against Pakistan which will be held in the United Arab Emirates that comprises one T20, three ODIs and two Tests. The series will kick off with the only T20 where Shahid Afridi will lead the hosts and Aaron Finch will marshal the troops of the tourists. The Green Shirts have an edge over the Kangaroos in the shortest version of the game since they have won 7 out of 12 T20s, the latter was successful in 4 and one of them ended as a tied. The first match was played between the two teams in the ICC World Twenty20, 2007, on September 18, at New Wanderers Stadium, Johannesburg, the last one in the ICC World T20, in Mirpur on March 23, 2014 and Pakistan ended up in grabbing both of them
The strong Australian batting line consists of aggressive players like David Warner, Glenn Maxwell, Aaron Finch, James Faulkner, Mitchell Marsh and Brad Haddin. Steven Smith has developed himself as a quality all-rounder while Mitchell Starc, Kane Richardson, Pat Cummins and Cameron Boyce are their accurate bowlers.
Shahid Afridi has played 74 T20s which is an individual record by any international player. He is a class all-rounder, always believes in attack and has the luxury of carrying explosive batsmen including Mohammad Hafeez, Ahmed Shehzad, Umar Akmal, Sohaib Maqsood and Umar Amin. Their bowling attack will revolve around Mohammad Irfan, Anwar Ali, Bilawal Bhatti, Sohail Tanvir and Raza Hasan. They will miss the services of the world renowned off-spinner, Saeed Ajmal who is out of the cricket world now a days because of his bowling action.
