|UEFA Champions League 2014-15|
| Schalke 04
||vs|| Real Madrid
ScheduleWednesday, 18 February 2015 at 18:45 GMT / 18:45 UK / 00:15 IST
Next Wednesday, 18th of February 2015, the current European and World champions, Real Madrid, will travel to Gelsenkirchen to measure forces with Schalke 04 for the first leg of the Round of 16 of the UEFA Champions League.
Los Blancos are currently not going through a particularly impressive moment at La Liga but they will try to make amends on such an important competition as the Champions League, by trying to replicate their last historical result at Veltins-Arena, when they hammered the German team by 6-1. As for Schlake, they have been very inconsistent so far this season, but by playing at home, they will certainly try to cause Real a major upset.
Real Madrid’s recent performances have been far from impressive and their heavy 4-0 defeat at Vicente Calderón against their neighbours and rivals of Atlético has certainly been a huge blow to the team’s confidence levels. One week after that match, Los Blancos had overcome Deportivo La Coruña at home, but their overall performance was still far from brilliant.
With Barcelona upon their heels at La Liga’s table, Real cannot allow any more slip-ups and they will certainly take this Champions League fixture to inject a boost of motivation in the team.
During the group stage phase, Real Madrid gave us with an excellent display of power by winning all the six matches they took part in. Their opposition, Liverpool, FC Basel and Ludogorets, have failed to pose any major threat to the dominance of the Spanish side, but it is fair to say that Swiss side did force Los Blancos to put in some extra work when they met at Basel last November.
For the upcoming fixture at Germany, Real’s manager, Carlo Ancelotti, will most certainly not be able to rely on the contribution of James Rodriguez, Luka Modric, Fábio Coentrão, Khedira and Sergio Ramos, all currently sidelined due to injury.
As for Schalke, the German side has started the new year in great form at Bundesliga, but their last weekend’s defeat against Eintracht Frankfurt could have left some open wounds at Roberto Di Matteo’s team.
An away draw against the all-powerful Bayern Munich and a home win over Borussia Monchengladbach were an excellent opening theme for this new year, but they seem to have failed to get rid of their usual inconsistency as they’ve stumble again at Frankfurt last weekend.
The Champions League is a completely different reality and, for that particularly difficult match against Real Madrid, Roberto Di Matteo will most certainly not be able to rely on the contribution of Draxler, Farfán, Kolasinac, Obasi and Fährmann, all still recovering from their respective injuries.
Despite their recent less impressive form, Real Madrid are firm favourites to win the upcoming fixture at Veltins-Arena.

Looking good for over goal market.
Bhai acchi lag gayi meri aaj to....Shani bhari ho gaya aaj mere upar....Barca ki le li Malaga ne....maine to 0-1 down hone ke baad lagaya tha aur thoda thoda stake badate gaya is umeed me ki jackpot lagega...bahut dimag kharab hai....
Mera bhi ghus gaya, lekin meine jyada risk nahi liya tha. Valencia waale me laga ke nikal lo. Yeh bhi over ka market hai.
O1.5 1.6 per hai yahin se lagana suru kardo. O2.5 3 se uper ho gaya hai wahan bhi laga do. 0-0 per insurance daal do. Baki wait karke O0.5 per laga dena.
leave O2.5 and focus on O1.5 for 10 more minutes and then chase O0.5. If you exceed money on over market than profit from 0-0 then put some more money on 0-0.
1-1. apna loss to recover ho gaya.
1-2, barsat ho gayi noton ki...
Bhai is strategy se profit kaise banta hai...i didn't get it exactly....this time goal happened but if the score had been 0-1 then , 0-0 bhi gaya aur O2.5 aur O1.5 bhi
maan lo £2 ka stake hai. sabse pahle O2.5 per £4 laga do. Fir 0-0 per £2 laga do yeh insurance ke liye hai. Maan lo 0-0 ka odds 10 hai to yeh £18 ka profit dega. Isko hamesha yaad rakho. Ab tumhare paas £18 hai jisase £2 (0-0 wala) ke profit sabse pahle nikalna hai fir £16 bachega aur usme se profit nikalo chahe jahan per. To O2.5 per £4 laga ke wait karo. hum yeh maan ke chal rahe hain ki kam se kam goal hona hi hai. wait karo O2.5 ko uper aane ka. 3-4 tak aaye to £2 aur daal do. Fir wait karo O1.5 ke uper aane ka jaise hi yeh 2.02 per aat hai isme £6 daal do. Fir O0.5 per nazar rakhi aur daalte raho jaise iska odds uper aata hai. £10 abhi bacha hai 0-0 wala to £10 O0.5 per lagao.
Yeh lambi strategy hai lekin jab lagti hai to chapper phaar ke barsat hoti hai aur sara loss recover ho jata hai.
agar goal suru me hi ho jaat ahai to chor do aur kisi aur match ko pakro. yeh strategy us match ke liye hai jisme goal suru me nahi hota.
Thanks Bhai...agar 0-1 raha to jyada faayda nahi hoga par aaj jaise match me to bahut ban jaayega
Barca aur RM ke hype me bookie odds ki waat laga dete hain. Jo bookie bolate hain uske opposite me lagana profit rahega. This is 2nd time Malaga messed up with Barca.
Ok Bhai....try karta hoon kuch ban jaye par aaj ka din hi kharab hai....kuch bhi karo mera ghusega hi...vo to accha hua EPL ke kisi bhi match me haath nahi dala nahi to usme bhi lagti meri...blessing in disguise....Valencia ke saath Bhi Barca ne 94th min me match save kiya tha....Valencia aur malaga are proven Nemesis of Barca i guess...aaj ke ATP semi finals se hi banana padega kuch ya agar kal SA toss jeet ke batting kar le
Take a break. It's just one of those days to avoid risking any money at all. I have been there many times.
