That match followed my prediction.
Prediction for this match remains more or less similar.
Scorchers are strong team unit and they are not known to give up easily specially in defending the run chase. I've seen them time and time again pulling out victory from the jaws of defeat while defending. Their batting remains a concern though. If they bat first and score 180+ then they will be favourite to win.
On the other hand Adelaide Strikers are on a winning streak and confident. Pollard is great asset if he clicks. Good thing about him is that he is more effective in bowing and fielding than with bat for which is more feared. I can't remember last time I saw him firing.
Like all Big Bash matches this match also remains 50-50. First innings score will decide the outcome. Low score can be chased down easily while high score will ensure victory. But again don't rely on this statistics and follow my favourite strategy.
Back team batting first and green up before or at interval.

None of the teams batting first have collapsed so far so we are still safe statistically. But always remember that there is one collapse around the corner. In such case take the loss and exit at interval. If collapse is below 100 then take loss at interval and get out. If it's 120 or so then you can continue in chase and see if they lose early wickets in which case you can minimize loss.
Out of, let's say, 20 matches one might end up in first inning collapse. Statistically you are still in the profit.
Most of the matches start with 50-50 so at the interval you will always have odds lower than what match started with. I've seen average 5 ticks of difference. It gives you safe 5% of no risk profit in each match. If you do some extra leg work then you can get 10% easily during the first innings.
