The latter took part in equal matches, grabbed five, surrendered three and held the fourth spot with 10 points. Adelaide Strikers triumphed in their last pool match vs. Melbourne Renegades by 22 runs and Sydney Sixers clinched their final game against Sydney Thunder with a margin of four wickets. Both teams require two wins to wear the coveted crown and a tough fight is anticipated in the coming game.
Players to watch
Travis Head blasted 71 off 34 deliveries vs. Melbourne Renegades and Kelvin Smith demonstrated an unbeaten knock of 41 whereas Craig Simmons, Tim Ludeman, Ryan ten Doeschate and Alex Ross have batted excellently during the event. Johan Botha is leading his side from the front by his all-round performance while Ben Laughlin, Adam Zampa, Kane Richardson and Gary Putland form a deadly bowling combination.
