The dismal performance from Brisbane Heat continued when they lost their sixth match of the Big Bash League, 2014-15, against Sydney Sixers by a visible difference of six wickets. They could win just one game so far in the event and are placed at the bottom of the chart with two points. Hobart Hurricanes were denied from another victory when they were outplayed by Perth Scorchers with a difference of 18 runs. The former holds the fifth spot on the table carrying six points from seven matches and will face Brisbane Heat in the next one.
Peter Forrest played a smart unbeaten innings of 62 runs for Brisbane Heat in the last game and Andrew Flintoff scored 46. Nathan Reardon, Jimmy Peirson and Chris Lynn have contributed quite a few runs for their team while Ryan Duffield, Cameron Gannon, James Hopes, Daniel Christian and Flintoff are looking after the affairs of the bowling.
