Sydney Sixers continued ruling the ongoing Big Bash League, 2014-15, when the won their third successive match of the event while defeating Sydney Thunder by 16 runs. Perth Scorchers grabbed their maiden game of the tournament when they overpowered Melbourne Renegades by 35 runs in their previous match. Sydney Sixers have attained six points from three outings and Perth Scorchers could manage two from even matches.

Riki Wessels punched a valuable fifty for Sydney Sixers vs. Sydney Thunder that enabled his team to smash 180 and resulted in another victory. Nic Maddinson is their highest run getter while Michael Lumb, Moises Henriques and Jordan Silk are among runs. Brett Lee, Sean Abbott, Henriques and Doug Bollinger are bowling perfectly for their side.
Michael Klinger blasted 105 runs from just 60 deliveries for Perth Scorchers against Melbourne Renegades, Marcus Harris contributed 53 and rest of their batting has yet to click. Jason Behrendorff is bowling at his best while Ashton Agar, Yasir Arafat and Andrew Tye are assisting him nicely.
