Perth Scorchers are unique team as they don't have much firepower but they reply heavily on their T20 specialist bowlers to rescue them. Their bowlers have done in last season over and over again and they went on to lift the trophy. Last year I always predicted that Perth will win with their bowling and over 90% of my prediction PASS based in that.

This year they have more or less same team but they are missing Yasir Arafat. He was main bowler for them not only in taking wickets but also slowing down run rates. Without him Perth will will be just 60% of their bowling strength.

Brad Hogg is in the list, it's big surprise for me, not sure if he will actually play?

Overall Perth are not so favourite for me as they used to be in last season. We have to watch them playing. They used to defend any low score last season so it will be interesting to see if they can repeat last year's performance. Their batting is not so destructive and they produce average score.

Perth are still fav to trade and win the match. Don't bet but trade.
