Sri Lanka proved their strength against England who lost the fourth One Day International by a vast margin of six wickets. The visitors were bowled out for 265 runs in exact fifty overs and the hosts achieved the target by smashing 267 for the loss of four mere wickets with two balls to spare. The Islanders are marshalling the seven match series at 3-1 and would love to extend their lead in the remaining three games while the Englishmen will try to exhibit positive show.
Kumar Sangakkara demonstrated a match winning knock of 86, his skipper Angelo Mathews remained unbeaten for 51, Mahela Jayawardene and Kusal Perera contributed 44 and 31 runs in the last match.
