The West Indian based Barbados Tridents were unable to impress in two games they played in the 2014, Champions League Twenty20, they lost both of them and could not post any point on the table. The Australian unit of Hobart Hurricanes had an excellent tournament so far since they have won two matches, lost one, attained eight points and occupy the second spot on the table. They will be eyeing on the top four teams of the event after winning the next encounter.

Jonathan Carter hammered an unbeaten hundred for Barbados Tridents in the previous game against Cape Cobras and Dilshan Munaweera scored 42 runs while rest of their batting line up has yet to perform. Jeevan Mendis bowled excellently and grabbed four wickets but Ravi Rampaul, Rayad Emrit and Jason Holder must bowl perfectly.

Aiden Blizzard registered 62 runs in the last match vs Northern Districts, Shoaib Malik secured his end with 45, Tim Paine scored 43 and won the match by a huge margin of 86 runs. Ben Dunk is another fine batsman whereas Ben Hilfenhaus, Doug Bollinger, Joe Manniue and Xavier Doherty are their supreme bowlers.
