Hobart Hurricanes got back in the Big Bash League, 2014-15, while chasing a hefty target of 209 runs successfully against Brisbane Heat. The former has played four matches, won two, lost two and gathered four points at a run rate of -0.043. Melbourne Renegades, on the other hand, surrendered cheaply vs. Melbourne Stars in their previous game and recorded the lowest total of the tournament by scoring 57 while chasing 170 runs. Melbourne Renegades managed just two points from four matches and are currently placed at no.8 on the points table. They will take over Hobart Hurricanes in the next game and both teams will be putting their best efforts to grab another two points.
Players to watch
Ben Dunk and Tim Paine established a match winning opening partnership of 120 off 9 overs for Hobart Hurricanes vs. Brisbane Heat with their individual contributions of 67 and 55 runs. Alex Hales and George Bailey were the other two batsmen with reasonable contribution which can put their confidence back for the remaining games. Cameron Boyce was star performer with three wickets while Joe Mennie, Xavier Doherty and Darren Sammy are bowling well.

With all my analysis Hobart Hurricanes are favourite. It's their home ground, they are looking good and have won last match in style. MR are yet to offer any serious challenge.
Melbourne Renegades have impressive squad which hasn't fired so far. We all know what Aaron Finch can do. I'm not too surprised that he hasn't fired yet. I saw him playing in NatWest T20 league here in England and he was flop here too in most of matches. The 1 khokha questions is when this sleeping giant will wake up and that's the risk you have to take. They also have Bravo and Russel who are equally dangerous but only when they get going. None of them have done any damage so far. They are like RCB in IPL full with talents but never get started.

Aus big bash is like bullish big bash....so many match fixes.... they want to show the tournament still wide open. All the team are good enough to win...... One team cant chase 133 ....one team who make 200 on chasing they fail NEXT TIME.....one team who is consistent on loosing suddenly become more dangerous..... quite clearly this big bash is not great tournament as like IPL. More match fixes here than any other else........jaago grahak jaago
Dude! It's not always fixed. No one fixes matches all the time it's too risky in today's world where information travel faster than speed of light. They fix only morally weak individual players. Problem with all these domestic T20 tournaments (except IPL) is that players don't take it too seriously. It's not a life and death for them. All they need to do is to appear in the field and do whatever they want to do without any pressure. Whereas in IPL they have got hundreds of people sitting on top of their heads to make sure franchise win as winning is what makes money for them. From owner down to lowest rank in the management are all behind every player to ensure they do their best. That is why the best comes out of each players in the IPL. Then we have crazy media pressure and not to mention spectators who pay their hard earned cash to watch them playing and want value for their money. Imagine if BBL shit happening in India then spectators will put stadium on fire.
A losing team will not get any sponsorship and they will run out of money. Franchise fee itself is over $100m and no dumb Indian and filthy rich owner will invest such money in a losing franchise. Most of the owners are family owned businesses and they are not known for giving out even a single paisa to anyone unless they make some profit out of it.
So IPL is on a different level altogether, don't compare other T20 leagues with IPL.
The worst T20 league is England's NatWest T20 where players are worse than our street kids back home.
So take my million dollar free advice and stop gambling on any foreign T20 leagues. Focus only in IPL which is just around the corner.
Yes Brother its true! In foreign T20 leagues, players are playing ONly for enjoyment. But you are saying in current no match fixing...i m not satisfied....All the players and team have an agreement.! Players have to do only what their management has decided. its not called match fixing ITS CALLED TEAM MANAGEMENT DECISION ONLY. No body can blame you....Its HIDDEN. NO BODY CAN BLAME YOU. Cricket is not WWF. Think of these sucking domestic leagues as Tennis' ATP tours where big players appear just to show off and pocket easy money. They never put any extra effort to win. Exactly similar things happens in T20s. IPL is like Wimbledon where everyone wants to win. Rest of leagues are like ATP tour, players just take money to appear.
The only best thing coming out of Big Bash is that serious players will perform better to make shit load of money from IPL auction. Maxwell pocketed millions thanks to his good performance in BBL. This year no one is clear winner but may be someone will emerge at later stages of the tournament.
Who is capable of what doesn't work in any form of Cricket. Dutch can stun England and India, minnows of 83, can win the world cup. This uncertainty of result is what makes Cricket so attractive otherwise it's bloody the most boring sports on the planet which is watched by retired senior citizen and crazy Indians. If it was not Australian then we would be still watching Cricket in B&W.
