South Africa has captured the second spot in Pool B of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2015 after they were defeated by India and Pakistan. The Proteas won their encounters against Zimbabwe, West Indies, Ireland and accumulated six points at a net run rate of +1.462. They played their last match against the Green Shirts who were bowled out for 222 runs in 46.4 overs and the latter folded the innings of the South Africa at 202 with 16.3 overs to spare. United Arab Emirates lost all four games played vs. Zimbabwe, Ireland, India, Pakistan and are searching for their maiden victory of the event. They will be taking over South Africa which looks more balanced side and will do their best to win the match with a vast margin.
AB de Villiers was the highest run getter for the Proteas against Pakistan and scored 77 runs whereas Hashim Amla and Faf du Plessis managed 38 and 27. Quinton de Kock is having a disastrous tournament while Rilee Rossouw, David Miller and Jean-Paul Duminy can get back their form. Morne Morkel is their chief wicket taker with 11 and he is being well supported by Dale Steyn, Kyle Abbott, Morne Morkel and Imran Tahir.
Shaiman Anwar continued with his brilliant form and scored 62 runs vs. Pakistan in the last game as Khurram Khan, Amjad Javed and Swapnil Patel recorded 43, 40 and 36. Amjad Ali and Andri Berenger must fulfil their promise with the bat while their bowling revolves around Mohammad Naveed, Manjula Guruge, Amjad Javed, Mohammad Tauqir and Krishna Chandran.
