Ryan Carters scored 65 runs while Kurtis Patterson, Ben Rohrers and Sean Abbott took a start but were sent back to the pavilion in thirties. Ben Dunk hammered a maiden double hundred of the event and remained unbeaten for 229 in the previous game against Queensland and Tim Paine smashed 125.
