The fluctuating results continued in the ongoing series between South Africa and West Indies since the former clinched the three Test series at 2-0 and the latter came back in the shortest versions of the game by winning it 2-1. They will enter in an important One Day International series comprising five of them that will assist them in the World Cup 2015. The Proteas lost the five ODI series 1-4 on their recent tour to Australia and the Carribeans surrendered the five game series vs. India 1-2 as well. Jason Holder will be marshalling the troops of the Windies while the seasoned AB de Villiers will be the skipper of the home side and one expect entertaining matches from them.
AB de Villiers, Hashim Amla and David Miller were the main scorers in the series against Australia and the first two scored quite a few runs in the Test Series vs. West Indies. Morne van Wyk dispatched a ton in the third T20 while Farhaan Behardien and Faf du Plessis are dependable batsmen. Jean-Paul Duminy is a fine all-rounder and their bowling will revolve around Dale Steyn, Vernon Philander, Morne Morkel, Kyle Abbott and Imran Tahir.
Marlon Samuels, Dwayne Smith and Denesh Ramdin batted superbly against India while the first one is enjoying a great form in the recent series against the Proteas. Chris Gayle is in excellent form whereas Lendl Smith can be a dangerous batsman once he is well settled in the center. Andre Russel and Darren Sammy are class all-rounders, Jason Holder, Sulieman Benn, Carlos Brathwaite, Sheldon Cottrell and Jerome Taylor will form a strong bowling attack.
