vs | Real Madrid C.F. |
ScheduleSaturday, 1 November 2014 at 19:00 GMT / 19:00 UK / 00:30 IST VenueEstadio Nuevo Los Cármenes (Andalusia) |
Next Saturday, 1st of November 2014, the super Real Madrid will travel to Andaluzia to measure forces with Granada at Estadio Nuevo Los Cármenes for round ten of the Spanish Liga BBVA, on a match where Los Blancos, in case of win, will apply some extra pressure to the league leaders, Barcelona, who will only get into action a few hours later against an always complicated Celta de Vigo side at Camp Nou.
There are no words to describe how strong and cohese Real Madrid appear to be at the moment. With nine consecutive wins and 38 goals scored during those respective matches, Los Blancos are definitely taking a stand, both on domestic and international competitions. Their recent victim was, no more no less, than Barcelona, who hadn’t been beaten at La Liga before the match, but weren’t able to withstand Real’s intense game flow and poisonous quick counter-attacks, led by Cristiano Ronaldo and James Rodríguez.
After a shaky start at La Liga this season and after losing the Spanish Super Cup to their neighbours and rivals of Atlético Madrid, Los Blancos are now one step closer to “perfection”, as they keep hammering down their opponents one after another.
The Portuguese sharpshooter Cristiano Ronaldo and the Colombian wizard James “El Bandido” Rodríguez are definitely taking Real’s attacking game into another level as their creativity and quick passing ability are proving to be an impossible bone for their opponents to chew.
Before taking on Granada next Saturday, Real will take on the modest Cornella, from the Spanish fourth tier, for the Copa del Rey, on a match for which Ancelotti should give some rest to some of his top players without compromising the team’s aspirations in that particular competition.
As for Granada, the Nazaries are currently going through a fairly complicated moment with four defeats on their last five matches. After an excellent league start, Granada’s wonderful moment started to crumble when they were defeated at home by Levante and, from that moment on, the team failed to win a single match. Their boss, Joaquin Caparrós, saw his honeymoon at Granada come to an abrupt end and he is now trying to recover his team’s morale for the extremely complicated match against Real Madrid, but the current European champions are certainly not the most desirable opponent for a team that is struggling to breath.
Real Madrid are, beyond any doubt firm favourites, for the next Saturday’s match as Granada don’t seem to have what is needed to defeat a powerful team such as Los Blancos.
