Next Wednesday, 4th of November 2015, the current English Premier League champions Chelsea will go head-to-head with Serhiy Rebrov’s rejuvenated Dynamo Kyiv at Stamford Bridge for the fourth match of the UEFA Champions League Group Stage.

Things are going from bad to worse for José Mourinho this season with Chelsea’s team sinking without a trace, both in domestic and international competitions. The Blues added another defeat to their shameful tally last weekend after being defeated by Liverpool in front of their supporters. Chelsea had some positive moments throughout the match, but in the end, Jurgen Klopp’s men deserved to win.

Two weeks ago, José Mourinho’s men had several chances to leave the Ukraine with the three points in their bags, but they failed to do so, especially because their poor form in front of the goal. For next Wednesday’s fixture, the Portuguese boss will not be able to rely on the contribution of Thibaut Courtois, Diego Costa, Pedro Rodriguez and Diego Costa, all of them currently sidelined due to injury.

As for Dynamo Kyiv, the current Ukrainian champions are having a good season start so far as they currently occupy the second place of the league table with the same points of Shakhtar Donetsk after 12 matches.

After a painful home defeat against Mircea Lucescu’s Miners before the Champions League clash with Chelsea two weeks ago, Dynamo seem to have finally gotten back on tracks. A midweek win over Obolon-Brovar for the Ukrainian Cup and another solid win against Metalist Kharkiv in their last outing were probably what Dynamo needed to get their confidence back after swapping places with Shakhtar at the top of the league earlier last month.
