Hiland Doolittle |
They have never met on clay and therefore never at Roland Garros where Tsonga has rallied amazing support. The five seed enjoyed a walkover in Round three and has closed out opponents in straight sets in his other three matches. Our pick to go all the way is rested and ready. Kei has broken serve 17 times in three matches.
Jo-Willy has been great, everything a nervous and excited crowd could want. He cruised through 4th seed Berdych with relative ease and is playing his best tennis of the year. His unforced errors are up but his serve has been dominating. He has broken serve 24 times in four matches. Yet, as well as he is playing and with the crowd loudly behind him.

Last Frenchman still resisting. Kei was overpowered more by crowd than by Tsonga. No dancing celebration though may be he was put off by national disaster after a sheet fell off. Looks like French have no sense of health & safety.
